Bumper scuff repair — the most common job we see

Full bumper respray

We remove the bumper where needed, prepare and prime it, then colour-match and repaint it in our low-bake spray oven using genuine Standox paints and HS lacquers. A full respray takes longer than a spot repair, but it returns the whole panel to an even, factory-standard colour and finish rather than blending into tired paint.

Replacing a bumper means buying the panel, painting it and refitting it — and a new aftermarket bumper rarely lines up as precisely as the original the car left the factory with. A very light scuff on a textured black bumper can sometimes be tidied at home with a heat gun or a trim restorer, and for a mark only you will ever notice, that may be all you want. Where DIY struggles is colour.
