Our story
Bodyteq was established in 2013 as a family-run car body repair centre in Greenwich, South-East London. Under its current family ownership it has grown from a local repair shop into a specialist bodyshop with a reputation built on one thing: getting the finish right. We remain proudly family-run, and that shapes how we work — every car is treated as if it were our own, and our name is on every repair that leaves the workshop.
The team behind every repair
Our technicians bring over 70 years of combined experience to the workshop floor. More telling than the number is how that experience is spread. We are a multi-disciplinary team of specialists rather than generalists — a lead technician who came up through the trade as a mechanic before moving into body repair, a dedicated panel-beating specialist, an experienced painter, and a senior paint technician whose colour-matching is the reason a repaired panel disappears into the rest of the car.
Between them they cover every stage of a repair: mechanical, electrical and trim work, panel beating, paintless dent removal, paint and colour-matching. That range means we rarely have to send work out — your car stays with us, and the same standard applies from the first strip-down to the final polish.
Our Greenwich workshop and equipment
Good body repair is equal parts skill and equipment, and our Greenwich workshop is set up to do the job properly. For heavily damaged vehicles we use a specialist alignment jig to bring a body back to its correct factory measurements before any panel work begins — the difference between a car that looks right and one that is right. Paint and lacquer are cured in a state-of-the-art low-bake oven, which gives the hard, colour-stable, factory-grade finish that simply cannot be achieved in the open air.
Where a repair calls for replacement parts, we fit genuine OEM parts so that panels, trims and fixings sit and behave exactly as the manufacturer intended. Paired with premium paint systems and advanced repair techniques, that is how a repair ends up seamless rather than merely tidy.

The clearest picture of how we work is a real one. A customer once came to us in real distress: driving a hire vehicle, they had been the victim of a hit-and-run and had been quoted thousands of pounds for the damage, with the clock ticking on their hire agreement.
