Full Car Respray In London This Summer!
Summer is finally here, and you want to show off your car – but is the bodywork letting you down?
Whether it’s a Ford Capri, a Toyota Prius or a Bentley Continental. If the bodywork on your vehicle has been worn down by dents, scuffs or scratches over the years, then it might be worth considering a full car respray in London to bring it back to it’s former glory.
Over the years, direct sunlight (UV Rays) will cause the paint’s protective lacquer to dull down and in some cases flake (lacquer peel). Another common issue associated with direct sunlight is the change in shade of your panels. This is more noticeable when you paint one panel with new paint without blending into the old paint. You can then see side by side the difference and just how much the paint has dulled down over the years.
Micro scratches
Micro scratches from cleaning your car are another unavoidable concern. Most car washes are aware of this problem and will use micro fibre clothes. But it’s really a preventative measure and not a solution. The clothes will leave micro-scratches in the lacquer. And over time the scratches become more visible as they build up. It’s more noticeable on a darker coloured car and often the scratches form a circular shape.
Stone chips
Stone chips can ultimately be your worst nightmare. A deep stone chip on the bonnet will penetrate right through the paintwork to the metal panel. If left untreated can progress to form rust which will spread throughout the panel under the paintwork. Then there is that car park dent that occurred when you left the car for a few hours at your local shopping centre. Or the scuff to your bumper as you mount a curb to get onto your driveway.
Before getting into the car respray in London we make sure the undercoat on each panel is sealed and ready for the new paint to be applied. This way we can ensure an even coverage of paint and a quality finish throughout. We use only genuine Standox paints and a true HS (High-Solid) lacquer. With enhanced durability and protection against direct sunlight and micro scratches.
In fact, the lacquer is so durable that when machine polishing is necessary. This particular lacquer can increase our polishing time by as much as 40% because it takes so much longer to cut + buff through the lacquer once it has cured.

There are a few options for colour changing, we would need to know the following:
1. Are there any dents/cracks/rust around the body of the vehicle?
2. What is the current colour of the vehicle?
3. What colour do you want the car to be finished in?
We can paint just the outer (visible panels), the openings (shuts/jams) or the engine bay as well, which would require removal of the engine and components. Most people opt for either of the first two options.
If you can get back to us on the above, along with pictures of your vehicle, we can put an estimate together for you right away.

Looking to respray Rover Mini Sports Pack.
It’s a two-tone car with white roof and red body.
Has two rust patches on the inside bottom of both front pillars, several patches of surface rust bubbles rising.
